There are souks, bazaars, small shops and boutiques where you can buy superb leather goods,  spices and herbs, antiques, rugs, clothing, tiles, pottery, shoes and jewellery.

Marrakesh is famous for its vast amount and good-quality spices and the beautiful hand-woven carpets, while Fes is famous for its leather goods that are made in the tanneries and its zellij tiles. Essaouira is known for its high-quality organic argan oils, wood handicrafts and art galleries.

Don’t be afraid to negotiate because it is a fun part of shopping. You should offer a low price first and then see what price the seller offers next. We recommend that you try haggling and keep it light-hearted!
