Many of our friends and clients have asked us how we are doing in Morocco with the current travel restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic. Hence, we thought we’d update our blog with a Morocco travel update during Covid-19. At the beginning of 2020 we heard news from our friends in China about a new virus. As the months passed we learned of the impact it had on Wuhan and the lockdown that occurred. We received news from our Italian friends and others in many different countries about the pandemic. We watched the news anticipating a lockdown in African countries such as Morocco. Cofid-19 has been devastating to many people in many different ways. We are praying for everyone.

Morocco Travel Update for Cancellations due to Covid-19

In our tourism sector, we’ve seen a sharp decline. However, we remain optimistic that we can continue to provide our tourists and travellers with an amazing service once the travel restrictions are lifted. We continue to update our clients with news via email and on Whatsapp. At Sir Driver Tours, we are issuing refunds to our clients who have booked tours in 2020. Your health remains our top priority! We’d rather you did not travel and stay safe until our Government removes the travel restrictions in Morocco. If you do have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at contact@sirdrivertours.com

We’ve also had many queries regarding Morocco travel and for updates on Covid-19. Due to the virus, we are still in our lockdown phase. We have been locked down for 2 months. People are allowed to go out only for essential items. It’s very quiet outside and the lockdown has tired many people, but it is for the safety of everyone. The Government has issued another 20 days of lockdown. This will take us up to 10 June 2020. After this date we will begin to open up. We’ll continue to update you on our progress in this blog. Please do save the link and share it with anyone who may be interested.
