We’re speeding into 2019 and already 7 days have passed and although late, we’d still like to wish you a Happy New Year. We have a great selection of Morocco tours to the Sahara desert, Marrakesh, the Atlas Mountains, Fes, Casablanca and more, and we look forward to adding to our tour list, so watch this space.
This year at Sir Driver Tours, we’re looking forward to receiving clients from all over the world and sharing the Moroccan culture during our tours and excursions. The internet and social media have been beneficial to us to reach people from all over the world and the power of photographs on sites such as Facebook and Instagram have been great to showcase everyday life in Morocco as well as showing off popular places and hidden gems throughout the country. In the cases of TripAdvisor, and Instagram (and other sites), we have only been on them for a few months now but we are thrilled to find new ways of connecting with people and receiving feedback. Thanks very much to our clients who have reviewed our service and allowed us to share their pictures – it really helps to share our tours with the world. On a more serious note, after the devastating killing of two young European women in Morocco, we have felt really sad, horrified and shocked. Our thoughts are still with those young ladies and their families, who are suffering tremendously. Morocco is generally a safe country but, as in all countries, there are still bad people who exist. It’s a shame that guides or travelling in groups of people are necessary in some situations and this tragic event highlights that even more. We only recommend using local registered guides as they have the qualifications to tell you about the history of the country and give you in-depth information. If you have felt unsure about your travel plans to Morocco or wish to tour but have concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
